What?

The FWO has launched a call for the FWO PhD fellowships fundamental research and strategic basic research. The submission deadline is 2 March 2026 (5 PM). More information on these grants can be found on the FWO website:

• An online workshop on writing a data management plan: 3 February 2026 (10:00 - 12:00)
• A workshop on how to make your motivation statement stand out:
• 4 February 2026 (09:00 - 12:00) – room A4 Building D campus Diepenbeek
• 4 February 2026 (13:00 - 16:00) – room A4 Building D campus Diepenbeek
• 6 February 2026 (09:00 - 12:00) – room E142 Building D campus Diepenbeek
• 6 February 2026 (13:00 - 16:00) - room E142 Building D campus Diepenbeek
• Interview training for applicants invited to the interview (July/August 2026)

Participation in the support program is free of charge, but registration is mandatory.

Registration for the motivation statement & DMP workshop is open. If you wish to participate, we kindly ask you to register here no later than Wednesday, 28 January 2026 (5 PM).
