As part of our next edition of PhD Reflect & Connect on March 12, 2026 the doctoral schools of UHasselt, in collaboration with our HR Department, are hosting a business theatre by Klein Barnum, on the topic of 'Welcome feedback: towards a constructive feedforward culture', both open to all researchers and UHasselt staff.
The call for a constructive feedback culture is omnipresent. It is therefore an important way to create a work environment resulting in employee satisfaction, involvement and commitment. But it also has its challenges. This business theatre invites you to playfully discover how a constructive feedback culture can be created, by means of a series of realistic and humoristic scenes. Input from the audience can be asked by means of color cards, but verbal interaction is not obliged and you will not be asked to join the actors on stage ;-). Just sit back and enjoy how the business theatre enfolds and learn more about the importance of feedback in your professional life.
The fact that this keynote is part of PhD Reflect & Connect has two implications:
(1) There will be a reception afterwards (for researchers only)!
(2) Attending the lecture cannot be acknowledged in fulfilment of the doctoral school requirements. This is a general agreement between doctoral schools.
