Ebbe Loos

Ebbe Loos received his Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry at Hasselt University (Belgium) in 2023, where he graduated with great distinction. During his Bachelor’s thesis work in the DSOS group, he synthesized novel donor-acceptor chromophores for fluorescent near-infrared OLEDs. Afterwards, he obtained his Master’s degree in Chemistry – Organic Chemistry at Uppsala University (Sweden) in 2025. For his Master’s thesis, Ebbe explored the synthesis and characterization of novel tertiary hydrazones photoswitches in the group of Prof. Stefano Crespi. Currently, he is pursuing his Ph.D. in the DSOS group, where he develops highly emissive materials that exhibit circularly polarized luminescence.
