Do you want to digitize or document your data and collaborate in a secure and easy way? Then an electronic lab notebook (ELN) is a good option.
An electronic lab notebook (ELN) is a handy tool for storing data in a secure environment and sharing it with your colleagues. It is a digital equivalent of the paper laboratory notebook where data (protocols, documentation, descriptions/results of experiments, etc.) are stored for verification, future use, valorization purposes, etc.
This session will explain the general functions and benefits of an ELN. We will go over the variety of different ELNs. Finally, we will discuss what to consider when choosing a discipline-specific or general ELN. In the end, there will be a hands-on session where you can try out some different ELNs to see which ones are the best for you.
