This lecture provides an overview of current strategies aimed at enhancing functional independence, focusing on three interconnected domains: tendon transfer surgery, evidence-based therapeutic approaches, and the clinical assessment of nerve integrity and recovery potential. By integrating surgical, therapeutic, and clinical experience, we explore how multidisciplinary rehabilitation can maximize outcomes for people living with cervical spinal cord injuries.
