2025-08-01 : New reader app for Ebook Central

The Ebook Central Reader App has replaced Adobe Digital Editions for full-book downloads. The core platform remains unchanged: users can still search, read online, and manage their bookshelf. To read offline, install the app on up to six devices and log in with your 7‑digit code. Existing ebook loans will sync automatically without needing to re-download.

Employees who wish to install the application on their UHasselt device can download the managed version of the application via the Software Center (via the Windows Start Menu > All Apps > Software Center | Search for Ebook Central).
