RDM Summer Camp

Join our RDM Summer Camp and strengthen your research data management skills through a series of practical, hands-on sessions. The programme focuses on four essential topics:

• Data cleaning & quality control: learn how to structure and clean datasets to improve their quality, consistency, and usability.
• Data anonymization: discover techniques for protecting personal data while maintaining research value and complying with ethical and legal requirements.
• Electronic Research Notebooks: explore how ERNs can support efficient documentation, collaboration, reproducibility, and project management throughout the research process.
• Data archiving & sharing: gain insight into best practices for securely archiving research data and ensuring long-term accessibility, discoverability, and reuse.

Designed for researchers at all career stages, the summer camp combines expert guidance with practical examples, providing immediately applicable skills for managing research data responsibly and effectively.

Participants are welcome to register for the entire programme or select only the sessions that best match their interests and needs.

• July 9, 2026 - 13:00-15:00: Wrapping up your research project

All sessions take place on campus Diepenbeek, building D, room E141.
