On Monday 8 and Tuesday 9 December, you’re welcome at the Agora (Campus Diepenbeek) from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. to browse a wide selection of books - from children’s stories to novels - all at friendly prices. All proceeds will go to De Warmste Week. Still have some books lying around? You can donate them at the Campus Library in Diepenbeek (contact person: An Baeten) or at the reception desk (Campus Hasselt).

During the international Open Access Week 2025, the Belgian universities are organizing 3 webinars on 3 days, between October 20th and October 26th, 2025.

In 2025, the University Library expanded its digital collection with several key databases and book and journal packages.

Starting from April 2024, students and staff of Hasselt University will have access to two e-book packages from Edward Elgar Publishing Company: the Essentials in European Law and the Elgar Advanced Introductions to Law Online.

Through the browser extension LibKey Nomad, you can quickly and easily access all scientific articles for which UHasselt has a license.

Through the online platform LexNow, you can consult the books and journals from a range of legal publishers based in Belgium.
