Zeiss Axioscan Z.1
Increase the throughput of your experimental workflow with this fully automated whole slide scanner. Equipped with a multicolor LED lightsource, high resolution lenses, automated focussing and positioning control, and high quality detection optics, the upright microscope captures brightfield and fluorescence images of outstanding quality. The ZEN software suite allows simple and automated digitization of your (large) samples.
Use and training
The Axioscan Z.1 slidescanner is managed outside the AOMC, but is still accessible for external users. Depending on the experimental needs and design, AOMC will redirect users to this setup. To access this microscope, contact the facility to schedule a hands-on training session. Training for the Axioscan Z.1 is done on a case-by-case basis by the setup responsible. Trained users can get 24/7 access to the microscope and are free to schedule experiments using the online booking system.
